Candidates for Nasal Dermal Fillers

Non-surgical reshaping avoids the risks of surgery and has no effect on nasal breathing as it only involves injection into the skin. The procedure is very precise and more very detailed adjustments to nasal contours are possible.

Non-surgical reshaping with the dermal filler can also be done in conjunction with a surgical Rhinoplasty, to “fine tune” the shape of the nose.  

How the Procedure is Performed

An initial consultation with Dr. Vidor will determine the goals and plans of the treatment to reach an ideal result for each patient. The procedure takes 20–30 minutes. Local anesthetic injection is used to assure minimal discomfort to the patient. The chosen dermal filler is then injected into the nose to improve the shape, profile, projection and symmetry with soft tissue augmentation.     

What you can Expect Post Procedure

There is a small possibility of minor bruising which should subside after 1 week and your nose may feel tender for the first 3–5 days. You may see improvement immediately and any swelling will resolve in 1 week. 

Depending on the dermal filler used the results can last from 6-12 months. Repeat treatment is recommended for every 12–18 months to maintain nose shape as desired.
